Entering the cabin, you find yourself in the great room, featuring a large window wall that provides plenty of natural light. A stone fireplace is built into one corner of the room, creating a cozy place to watch tv, read, and relax. The kitchen is tucked under the loft and combines a sophisticated rustic feel with modern appliances. Next to the kitchen is a dining area.
In addition to its patio and deck, the cabin has a sleeping porch with wonderful views of the creek. The other side of this covered porch holds a large hot tub. A small hallway behind the kitchen leads to a powder room and the master suite, including its own bathroom and a large closet.
The staircase leading to the second floor continues the home’s theme of combining the traditional with the more modern. Rustic-looking log posts are interspersed with smooth, wooden handrails and iron balusters. A small loft overlooks the great room and provides a wonderful space for sitting and enjoying the views and light from the window wall. Two bedrooms share another full bathroom to complete the layout of the cabin.
