We sell a large round log. Available are 8", 10", 12" and 14" diameters. Our massive logs leave an impression that is unmatched by the smaller profile logs being produced by many of the log home companies today. We pre-cut the logs for any plan. They come to the job site lettered and with a wall plan. Anyone can build with our logs. Many of our customers save the cost of hiring a crew to erect the logs by having friends and family help them put the logs up. Our logs are double tongue-and-grooved with saddle-notched corners. Double tongue-and-groove provides a permanent and secure fit between the logs. A strip of foam tape is placed on each tongue in between the logs and a fitted foam gasket is placed over each saddle to stop air infiltration and create energy efficiency. The logs are available pressure treated with non-toxic clear borate preservative. Borate helps protect the logs from decay, fungi and wood destroying insects.

We use a thru-bolt fastening system. There will be some degree of settling in your log home no matter how much of an attempt there is to make the logs dry before construction. Through-bolts eliminate the problems associated with settling while providing maximum hold down power. Moose Log Homes log walls stay tight throughout the life of the home.

In addition to log walls, we also offer all other log components for your home such as log posts, log floor joists, and log roof systems.

We sell logs. We do not hide the price of our logs. We price the logs separately from the rest of the house. Please call or send us your plans for log prices. If you do not have plans we can draw them for you.

Price example: A log wall package for a 32-by-48 foot home using our 10" logs would cost $24,247.00. This price includes the log walls, through-bolts, foam tape and saddle gaskets.
