Three different log home building systems
are available from Four Seasons Log Homes
- Double-log system. Two 3-by-6-inch double tongue-and-groove log walls with insulation and vapor barrier in between the log walls.
- Single-log system. One 3-by-6-inch double tongue-and-groove log wall with a 2-by-6-inch stud wall to the inside, which provides space for insulation and vapor barrier.
- Timberlog. A 2-by-12-inch tongue-and-groove siding, profiled to resemble a large solid log. Please note that the building method in the Timberlog system is not log construction but conventional western platform framing.
Another important feature of all Four Seasons’ log homes
is its commitment to using only kiln-dried materials. This feature ensures stability and provides a high-quality pine finish free of checks and distortion.
